Bucky Goes to Malawi

I’m a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa, working in an (extremely) rural secondary school called Luwazi. My small house in the African bush is adorned with Badger and Packer memorabilia my friends and family have sent me, and I love telling my students about Bucky Badger when I wear my Wisconsin tie to class.

My parents just sent me a copy of On Wisconsin, so I wanted to let you know that your publication’s readership extends all the way to the remote hills of northern Malawi. Also, UW-Madison was recently named the number-three producer of Peace Corps volunteers. … Perhaps with some more publicity, we can get to number one! Yewo! (thanks).
