Letters: Pier Pleasure

One of the fondest UW memories I have is going for lunch on the Union Terrace and then grabbing a skiff for a quick sail before returning to the pharmacy school for an afternoon of research. Your picture of the Union swimming pier [Traditions, Summer 2012] brought that memory back very vividly. The tradition of boats available for student use is one I will never forget.
