The UW community consumes a whole lot of meat, produce, and, yes, cheese.
How much food do the University Housing dining halls dish up every academic year? Below are the totals from the six major facilities that cater to the 8,987 students living in the residence halls. Between Labor Day and the last day of classes, the dining halls go through a lot of chow — and these numbers don’t even include any Wisconsin Union food locations or the smaller, à la carte outlets across campus operated by University Housing.
